Personal hotspot issue - "To enable personal hotspot on this account, contact EE"
I have an iPhone 4S bought from apple directly and I have been using a T-mobile sim on it. When I travel I used the personal hotspot to connect my laptop to the iphone, please note this is a paid service in t-mobile. I got to know that Virgin media offers the same service free and therefore I got a new pay monthly sim from virgin media and checked with them that they do allow tethering. Now the issue is that if I try to setup my personal hotspot it gives the message ""To enable Personal Hotspot on this account, please contact EE", as you might know that t-mobile is now called EE.
I did contact T-mobile (EE) and checked whether they have put any kind of lock on my account which they said they have not and blamed apple for the fault. I am kind of stuck in the middle and looking for any advice. Last but not the least, I have done the reset network settings, reset all settings, restart and upgraded the OS to 6.1.2 as well.
I will appreciate if anyone can help please.
Thanks
iPhone 4S, iOS 6.1.2
