IOS 6.1.2 update is 1 gig big on iTunes

Some news site reported that the size of the update is 12Mb but I updated mine using iTunes because I was surfing the Internet at that time. It took 16 minutes and when I check my bandwidth usage, I am less 1.1gig. From 12Mb to 1gig. Thanks Apple, you have just wasted my costly bandwidth. I have to pay for it.

Next time, I will not update from iTunes and will hold of updating until I see how big the update is.

May I suggest that iTunes show me the size of the update before I do so.
