After upgrading to 11.0.2 I tried to play a couple of iTunes U videos and got this message: "This movie requires QuickTime, which is not supported by this version of iTunes." What's up with this?

Which podcasts / iTunes U ? Something on the store, or something local to your school? If you can provide a link to the podcast, it might help us troubleshoot.
Try relaunching iTunes in 32-bit mode first, as per the instructions in the following document:
iTunes for Mac: Older media files may require iTunes to reopen in 32-bit mode
Go to the iTunes Store then search for Antsy McClain and the Trailer Park Trubadours. Choose any one of the iTunesU items. They all fail with the same message.
Totally unhelpful. Now the podcast won't play, but iTunes doesn't give me any error message. Just a spinning rainbow wheel and then back to the cursor, like I didn't click anything at all.
iTunes 11.0.2 doesn't support QuickTime?
