Syncing problems

Hi all, can anyone, anywhere help me. Does anyone know what should be a very simple thing to do. I want to transfer short videos from my PC onto my iPad. I connected the iPad and usefully it never gave me the option to transfer videos WHY. Surely that's a basic request, I thought photos, music, videos would be basic materials anyone would want to keep.

Is there some sort of secret I am missing. Although during the very long laborious process of syncing I was given the option to "include videos" the option inexplicably disappeared when I clicked on something, I can't remember what I done, so I didn't know how to get it back.

It took me what seemed like forever for it to sync and I STILL didn't have the videos I was so desperate for.....so bloody maddening, at that point I felt like throwing it through the window.

Please please help me:-(

iPad, iOS 6.1.2, 64 Gb

Import videos (mp4) into computer iTunes.

Connect and select iPad in iTunes, Select videos in Movies tab then click Sync button (bottom right)

Thanks ckuan but there is no movies tab or videos on my version, the latest one. I eventually managed to transfer them but I am not sure what I did or if I can do it again. I noticed no one else answered, maybe because they realised how hard and complicated these supposedly simple tasks actually are. I am dreading having more videos on my galaxy phone and the thought of trying to actually get to see them on the iPad.

To see Movies and Videos tabs on computer iTunes:

iTunes > Preferences... (Windows: Edit > Preferences...) > General > Show > select all the options here.

iTunes Sidebar (version 11.0.2)

iTunes > View > Show Sidebar

Connect and select iPad in iTunes Sidebar, you should see Movies tab on the top of the right panel.

Select Movies tab, select Sync Movies and select the movies listed below you want on the iPad, then click the Sync button.
