Mail doesn't open from dock on my iMac, even though top left of screen indicates mail is open
iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)
Did you force-quit Mail and relaunch it?

Yes. And then I try to open (or relaunch), and the light comes on, but no window opens
