Feb 28, 2013 7:40 PM in response to dblumfrommdby Lawrence Finch,Reset All Settings does what it says - it resets the settings in the Settings app, so you have to redo any settings that you changed from the default.
If you want to be cautious try Reset Network Settings. This will only erase WiFi passwords.

Feb 28, 2013 7:44 PM in response to Alister452by Omrb,First the lightning cable was a bit faulty and had to juggle it in order so my iphone could charge, after that i removed lint and same problem persisted.
After a day of moving it around it stopped charging that way, so i bought another lightning cable and it started charging normaly. Convinced that the problem was taken care of when i returned home tryed to charge it and nothing...i moved the cable around and nothing. I did a reset and nothing.
I bought the iphone 5 on a trip to U.S. and now I have to send it to apple for service. How do i send it and where to? Does anyone has another tip for making it charge again :/
thank you

Mar 1, 2013 4:16 AM in response to Alister452by Feivl1980,Same with me. Can only charge the phone randomly. Sometimes its been recognized by Itunes, sometimes not. This has nothing to do with the hardware, as it worked with 6.1. Only since the update!

Mar 1, 2013 5:24 AM in response to Feivl1980by Jameson!,Do you have an exchange account set up and are using the calendar? If so, try turning calendar OFF for that account, do a hard reset, then turn calendar back on. I know 6.1.2 was supposed to address the exchange calendar issues, but I don't think it did for everyone.

What garbage reporting; totally meaningless:
At Microsoft's TechNet forums, the comments varied. Some threads suggested that iOS 6.1.2 does not fix the problem with Exchange, while others report seeing no problems after applying the update.
Yes, some say this, some say that, some say something else. Just like any change to any product. Here's an interesting comment at the bottom of the post: https://discussions.apple.com/message/21388360?ac_cid=tw123456#21388360
PS, did update to 6.1.2, experiencing the BEST battery life I have EVER experienced since my first iPhone back when the first was released. Thought I’d end on a good note. ;-)
I guess if your battery life is BETTER on 6.1.2 you must have a really serious bug, because according to some in this thread the norm is worse battery life. I have the same bug, BTW. My battery life is better on 6.1.2 also.

Mar 1, 2013 6:49 AM in response to Retoxby Lawrence Finch,I would guess around 300 million lucky people, and a few unlucky ones. Most of whom can fix the problem if they spend as much time troubleshooting as they do complaining.

Mar 1, 2013 7:04 AM in response to Lawrence Finchby lola839,Lawrence, I have tried all the fixes offered here and elsewhere. Some of the fixes, many times. For nearly $1.000.00 I bought the phone, giving me the freedom to complain when and how I wish. If you find the complaining a problem, why do you keep returning? People here ARE complaining and we will continue to do so. I suspect people here have been doing troubleshooting, hence they are here trying to find that one fix that might work. We are frustrated and tired of trying to fix a very expensive device that does not work properly. Finally, I don't begrudge your superior tone, why would you begrudge my complaining knowing (because i have said that many times here) my phone is not fixed despite trying every fix that I have heard. I now have an appointment at the Genius Bar Sunday. I'll let everyone know what they tell me.

Mar 1, 2013 7:16 AM in response to Lawrence Finchby ReVape,Lawrence. The point is people shouldn't have to troubleshoot! Why on earth do you find this acceptable?
I've heard more people complain about 6.1.2 than I have report it as a success. Where do you get your figures from??
