Mail Apps Annoying Notifications

So everytime the Mail App on my MBP recieves any kind of email a little red notification will appear over the app on my dock. While I do like this, I dont like that it will do it for Spam in my Gmail account and Bulk Mail in my Yahoo account.

How can I get the app to notify me when mail actually makes it to my inbox and to ignore the mail that is sent to Spam folders and Bulk Mail folders? I dont want to get the little red notification for emails landing in Spam and Bulk Mail.
