If i have 2 graphic cards and one monitor, will the two "focus" on the one monitor?
Does the two Cards work on the same monitor? Or does one work while the other does nothing?

There is no bonding, no SLI or Crossfire, there can be apps that will use an Nvidia if it uses CUDA so you could have a GTX 570 for that and use say ATI something for display. Or ATI 5770 + Quado 4000 combo but normally no and nothing like PC and gaming.
