My daughter has put a texted password into her ipod touch 4th gen, but can't remember the text she has entered.
i have tried to connect to itunes, but its says it's unable to connect to itunes.
Please help!!

Have tried this but its gets to about 25 minutes then says its timed out
Try disabling the computer's antivirus and firewall.
- Next try the manual install method of:
iDevice Troubleshooting 101 :: iPhone, iPad, iPod touch
If necessary, place the iPod in recovery mode after the firmware download is complete and then restore using the instructions in the article. Sometimes recovery mode timeouts and returns to disabled before the firmware download is complete.
- Then try on another computer

I put iPod in DFU mode and this worked a charm.
All sorted and back up and running.
