Q: anyone having trouble with renting movies with Apple TV?

Not sure what to do,  can't seem to rent on Apple TV tonight.  Netflix is working and Itunes on my MAC is working.  I can always plug Mac to sound system but....  Anyone out there ith same trouble today.

 

BTW:

I restarted AppleTV

I plug/unplugged (the godd old alt/del)

Apple TV

    Well, here is just what worked for me....I found this in the support section.  Hope ot works for you

    The page say this.....

    You can resolve this issue by signing out of your iTunes Store account, and then signing back in:

    1. Select Settings > iTunes Store
    2. Select your account, and then select Sign Out
    3. Select Add New Account
    4. Sign in to your account

    Verify that the issue is resolved by accessing Movies or TV Shows on your Apple TV.

    Yes that is what I meant, in this case overlapping networks were interfering with yours. The timing could also have had an effect as she told you. Sometimes ISPs also throttle back the connection at certain periods.

     

    Hopefully it's working better now
