my ipod 4th gen battery drains when deleting apps.

Hello. I have been having issues with my 4th generation apple ipod touch. I charge my battery to full, and listen to music in the backgroud and play unbox me, and so those are the only two apps running. I keep my multitasking to a minimum. When playing the game, the battery drains quickly. When I had a full charge showing on the battery, I held down the apps to delete them. They started to "dance" and I selected four apps, and deleted them. After that my battery showed about 25%. What is going on? Can anyone help?! Thank you!

so i restored the ipod, and took all apps off, since I have an ipad. i will just use it for music. I used it all weekend during a trip. the battery seemed to do okay for the most part, except for when scrolling through playlists, and quickly changing songs, (i was seeing if the battery would drain while doing that, and it did) i left airplane mode on, and kept my charger with me if i needed to use. I returned home, and reinstalled only the Remote app, so that I could control my computer with itunes with it. in the brief time that I turned the wifi on to install the app, and connect remotely to itunes, my battery went from full to half. Any suggestions??

Thanks!
