Why aren't purchased shows available on my apple tv

I bought both Girls season 1 and Game of thronse season 2 on my Apple TV on sunday. i was charged and received receipts for both and watched 3 episodes of them and now they arent on my purchased list on any of my devices.

They were available on sunday and then on monday i tried to watch both and they said "could not connect to iTunes Store". then they disappeared. it is very frustrating because i couldve just bought the dvds. how do i fix it?
