WiFi Issues

Hey everyone, I am having a wifi issue with my early 2011 MacBook Pro.

Just today my wifi has begun to randomly turn off while I'm using the internet. When I try to turn it back on, the "Turn Wi-Fi On" button does nothing. Restarting the laptop occassionaly fixes the problem momentarily, however it has happened again and again. Any suggestions as to why this might be?
