HELP! i created apple i.d eveythings fine but when theres a game update it still show my husband apple I.D

hi,

my husband gave me iphone 4 and it was register under his name/apple i.d. And this is my first iphone and I found out that i can change the apple i.d. and use my own I.D.... i follow the step and it was fine, when i download games im using my apple i.d already. And now, theres an update for the games and i click on it then it promt up my husband's apple i.d.. So i put his password it says wrong password( but im sure it was right). i try to log in and log out and it did'nt change. Anyone can help how to use my user i.d on every apps in my iphone? thank you
