Sound lost when using airplay (iPad and Apple TV)

Hi everyone. I really hope you could help me out here.

I recently got an Apple TV which I love. I've used the Netflix app (+several others) a lot with no problem.

Just a few hours ago I wanted to try out the airplay-function with some video streaming, which worked perfect - at first.

After using airplay, I saw a TV episode on Netflix but decided to try out the airplay stuff some more.

Here's the problem: Now when I want to stream video (or music from spotify) to the Apple TV, the sound it almost completely lost. There's a fade hint of sound, which sound like Darth Vader. Movies and pictures are shown correctly, but the sound is lost! Why???

Please help so I can enjoy my Apple TV!

Thanks,

Morten

Try the following steps, check whether things are working after each step where appropriate, before trying the next.

  1. Restart the Apple TV (Settings > General > Restart).
  2. Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
  3. Restart your router.
  4. Restart your mobile device.
