iTunes 11.0.2 window smaller?

I got it down to 844 x 552...

Same problem here! It was bad with iTunes 11.0, but got worse with 11.0.2, with the re-size arrow in only one direction. iTunes does simply not fit into the 13 inch of an MBP.

Grab the bottom right-hand corner of iTunes and use it to resize the window:

You can fit iTunes exactly to the screen by clicking the green button at top right. It fits on a 13 inch screen just fine.

Try this: Quit iTunes. Go to (user)/Library/Preferences and move out all .plist files beginning com.apple.iTunes

Apple have hidden the user’s Library folder in Lion and Mountain Lion to casual viewers, in an attempt to stop new Mac users messing their machines up. To access it, in the Finder go to the ‘Go’ menu and hold down the Option (Alt) key; the Library folder will appear as a choice.

Then reopen iTunes and see if things have improved.

I'm not sure what else you can do - we know it should work because I've got it smaller than that. I would suggest asking in the Mountain Lion forum - I'm using Snow Leopard so possibly it's an issue with Mountain Lion. The first thing would be to get someone who has Mountain Lion to try making the window small and see what happens.

A possible solution is suggested in this thread - https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4595990 - where it appears that using iTunes in Spanish on Mountain Lion causes this, but in English it's OK...

michaelc. also posts a hack which may solve your problem if you don't happen to be Spanish.

I am using El Capitan and had the same problem. Command Control F made the screen smaller.
