Since I updated my iPad 4G. to Version 6.1.2., the battery life is way shorter and it runs very hot.
That's very weird to me ... Any one any idea what to do? 😮

Ditto. With no change to any of my settings, normal usage which used to get me up 2 days now gets me about 14 hours. Really need 6.1.3 to come out in a hurry to get this sorted out!
Same here. I have 5 hrs 41 minutes of activity with only 14% battery life left. Dismal performance as compared to prior OSes.

What helped mine a lot was restoring the iPad and having the battery run completely empty once after that and then fully recharged. It's way better now. Sad that you have do that after a simple update, but there you go ...
Yes mine too! Battery life after installing 6.1.2 has dropped 40 to 50 %. And my home button now requires multiple pushes to get it to work!!! I also have shut off everything I can that I do not use, but has not helped.
Come on Apple, get us a fix now! Or allow me to go back to a previous iOS.
I've got an iPad 2 and i upgraded to 6.1.2. Since then, my Pad wont charge at all! When i plug it in to my PC, iTunes doesn't pick it up.
I've done a full reset and created it as a new device, things started to work again... but as soon as i backed up to the Cloud... it has stopped again! The only way to resolve it is to wipe it all and start again! But i've no idea how long it will work for!
I've found ways to roll back to IOS5... does anyone know how to roll back just the one patch? So i can my device into the state it was in before 6.1.2???

Thanks for the tip; unfortunately I tried it and didn't see much, if any improvement on my iPad. Average battery life is 6 to 7 hours during use. Thanks anyway....
iOS 6.1.2 made my battery life worse ...
