Q: eMac Pinwheels about 2 mins after coming out of sleep

Computer Pinwheels about 2 mins after coming out of sleep and will not recover. Have to turn it off and back on. eMac 1GHz 3rd gen 1.5GB RAM

eMac, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

Hi Leo,

Open console in Applications>Utilities, check the system log for the date/time of the last sleep/wake problem & the Startup right after that for clues.

With Console open, try clicking on the Logs icon at top left.

The date & time about at the last wake up to a few minutes past that, or seach for wake.
