Apple vs best buy

Anyone know if the Mac pros that are sold at Best Buy are the same as the Mac pros that are sold at the apple store

Welcome to the Apple User-to-User discussion forums community.

Here's how it works... you tell us a little about what you are up to, and it makes it worthwhile for all the Volunteer Readers here to think about, research, and possibly contribute toward a solution to your dilemma.

So..

What are you up to?

What are you trying to accomplish?

What are you trying to optimize?

What are you faced with?

Why are you asking this question?

There are other options as well.

You might be able to do much better in optimizing... what is it you are trying to optimize?

To my knowledge, Best Buy doesn't sell Mac Pros, it sells MacBook Pros which are different and a lot easier to carry. If you match specification for specification, Apple Stores and Best Buy will be selling the same thing, but I've seen Apple stocking variations that Best Buy didn't have. If you go to the Apple Store online, you can see how many different variations there are and if you wish, you can order exactly what suites your needs and have it delivered to the Apple Store for pickup there (personally, I'm touchy about having a multi-thousand dollar laptop sitting on the doorstep all day). But Apple won't price match Best Buy, if that's the consideration.
