I bought a factory unlocked iPhone 4s from apple store north Michigan Chicago..and one day it got wet in the rain...and now it's not functional...wht r costs for replacement? ??please help

I gave it here in apple india and they said after. Checking the phone that it cannot be repaired or replaced in india..will they replace it...cuz the phone was opened here in india???
You will only be able to get the out of warranty service in the US.
They are now saying that the phone has been opened by a third party vendor...and parts are missing I don't understand...how can tht happen...wht. can I do to tell them tht it's not myfault

Facts are the Apple warranty is not international
and the iPhone can only be serviced in US
either as a warranty claim or an out of warranty claim for a user damaged iphone
