Q: My ipod 4th gen 40gig classic is not showing up on my computer or on the ipod itself Have two other ipods a nano and classic160gig.They work fine.4th gen does not show up in device manager anywhere. I'am Stumped. P.S. This unit has a brand new battery .

40 gig  classic does not show up in itunes or in the device manager on my computer. Have tried everything Apple recommends no luck. Did a restore a few days ago. Replaced battery and charged fully. all I get is a cord with an outlet on the screen. Can anyone help? Thanks Tommyp123.
