Can I make my Dock two rows tall?

I'm running OSX 10.8.2 on my Mac Book Pro -- is there a way to make the Dock two-rows tall? I've got a lot of icons placed there, and I remember seeing once a Mac that had it's Dock set up in two rows of icons. Thanks!

At present there is no preference setting available to add another row of icons in the dock.

There are third-party dock-like apps that allow multiple rows. Try searching MacUpdate.com for "dock" and you should find some.
