Force iphone to use data when wifi has no internet?

s there a way to force data when connected to wifi that has no internet connection? I

If WiFi isn't connected to the internet, the only data access is via the cell data network:

Settings > WiFi > OFF

Well, if there is no local music server on your LAN that interfaces with Sonos, how to you expect to stream music if you have no internet????????? iPhones can't "force" an ISP internet connection!

I think the paradox is that they want to AirPlay from the iPhone to Sonos players over Wi-Fi, using the iPhone's data plan to stream Pandora.

I would think that it's not possible to do what you want to do.

You could try using the iPhone as a hotspot for an iPad or iPod Touch that interfaces with AirPlay and Pandora.

What about using the phone to tether a computer for internet access, and running the Sonos off that?

No computer I know of has cell data reception to tether!

I know that you can tether a PC to the phone to use the phone's cellular internet connection but can you tether a phone to the PC to use it's Wi-Fi internet connection? Doesn't seem possible but what do I know.

You cannot use your Wi-Fi connection for Internet connectivity while other devices are using Wi-Fi for Personal Hotspot. You can share only a cellular data connection; you cannot share a Wi-Fi connection. You need another iOS device to make this work.

No, and there's no reason to need to do so if there is no internet service at the location.

Im fully aware of what tethering is, Did you read my post above yours? How would the computer access AirPlay?? You need an iOS device to do that.

What in the world are you talking about? Of couse you can Tether a computer to an iPhone using WiFi.
