Hi, my Macbook recently created a network with my name and password on accident. As i deleted this and tried to connect to my wifi, it didn't allow me to see or connect to my wifi router. Not sure what to do about this.

Hi, I recently unknowingly made a network for my wifi at my home. I deleted it because I didn't want to have a password on it because I live at home. When i tried to reconnect to the wifi, it didn't even show up in my wifi options. Can't connect to it or anything. Any help here?

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

Alright. Today when I was using my wifi the airport Utility came up and it had a screen with my name and said it required a password. Not knowing what I was doing, I did as it said. Well, needless to say it created a password protected network and I live at home with other people who use it. I deleted the newly created network, and tried to get into my original open airport and my wifi didn't pop up or anything.

Did you launch Airport Utility? What router are you using? Make and model.

I did not on my own launch Airport utility. A lot of the time it just pops up on its own.

It will pop up if it detects there is an update and you haven't set it not to pop up automatically. You may need to reset the AE back to factory spec and set it up again. Read the manual for the reset.

Sounds to me like you may have unknowingly reconfigured the APE to completely new settings.

How about doing a complete reset? The AirPort Extreme is pretty quick to re-setup.

How do I go about resetting my Airport? Every apple item in my house no longer see's it even as an option. My brothers phone which isn't apple sees it but it wont let him connect to it.

There is a small button on the back of the AirPort itself that you can press with a pen.
