If your MBP came with discs then it did not ship with Lion. You would have had to purchase it from the App Store using your Apple ID.

If you purchased it used, implying its previous owner purchased Lion and installed it, it is impossible to reinstall Lion without the Apple ID used to purchase Lion. That is the reason it is asking for your Apple ID. Without it, your only recourse is to reinstall its original OS using the discs you refer to, and subsequently purchase and install Lion yourself.

If the original OS was not Snow Leopard, you will need to purchase Snow Leopard.
