I have a sharepoint set up in Lion Server. When I try to connect from a client computer via Go to Server I get the error "the share does not exist. Please check the share name". If I type the addres AFP://servername.domain.com, It takes me to the root of the shares and I can pick the share I want. If I type AFP://servername.domain.com/share, it fails with the above error.
Mac mini Server (Mid 2011), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)
Hi Angrywilson,
Did you check and verify DNS settings with the client and the server? That might give you an idea where the client is looking and where the Server is available.
Also when you try AFP://IPADDRESSoftheSERVER/share does that work?
