I installed the java update on my macbook running lion,.. it seemed to go fine until I rebooted. It has taken almost an hour and its stuck on a grey screen. Is this normal? I keep running into info that implies the system is just looking for errors.
MacBook (13-inch Late 2007), Mac OS X (10.7.5)
That sounds unusally long to me, but I have not done it. Was it the Java 6 update from Apple or the Java 7 update from Oracle?
It was the apple update.
