I think English with Arabic translation is possible

Feb 22, 2013 11:21 AM in response to ALSALEMby aStoryTeller,iBooks allows only certain fonts at this time, so based on what I read about it, if the Arabic script/font is not supported, then you will not be able to see the text. Alternately, if there isn't too much text in your book, you could type in another program in that font and generate ibbok page size .png files and insert them 1 on each page of your ibook (not an elegant solution if you have a lot of text). Watchout for image size and book size restrictions of Apple.

Do you have a reference for the font becoming invisible? I have never heard of that. iBooks should just use the default iOS Arabic font for any Arabic text. An example of a existing book is

Feb 22, 2013 12:31 PM in response to Tom Geweckeby aStoryTeller,Tom, there are discussions on supported fonts in this forum and in books on ibooks author. What I meant is that you will not see the text in the arabic script - didn't mean 'invisible'. Sorry, if it caused confusion.

That's really not possible. Everything is supposed to be done in Unicode, and if you have that kind of Arabic text there is no way for it to be displayed other than in Arabic. It may just not be in the font you preferred but instead use the Geeza Pro from iOS.
