How to totally delete Apple Mail Account

Hi,

I have an Apple Mail, iCal and Address Book account setup under Mountain Lion - connected to MS Exchange. I would like to know how to completely remove the account and all its related data. I will then be re-configuring same account on these but want to start with clean slate to avoid any duplicates.

Please advise.
