Can i use powernap on my iMac 27" desktop?

i use spamsieve to cull out my spam. it works famously. however, if i leave mail open and allow the computer to go to sleep, which i do at night, the rule tht causes spamsieve to move the spam from my inbox to my spam folder is not applied. spamsieve still marks the messages as spam but i need to manually move them any time the system goes to sleep.

thanks for your thougths. there must be a way for mail to apply rules when the system is sleeping, i just can't find it.

No:

Power Nap in OS X Mountain Lion lets some Mac computers stay up to date even while they’re sleeping.

To use Power Nap, your computer must use flash memory (not a hard disk or solid-state drive). When the computer goes to sleep, Power Nap activates periodically to update information. The information that’s updated depends on whether your computer is running on battery power or plugged into a power adaptor.
