My email addresses have been set up for years and have been working correctly in Apple mail. All of a sudden, all three accounts in Apple mail have the angry triangle/exclamation points by them. My internet is working fine and none of the security info has changed. Why the sudden change?

    Quit Mail and then restart it should force it to reconnect.


    There's a been a bug in Mail at least since 10.7 (allegedly related to routers, DNS settings, Dropbox, 1Password or some other 3rd party application, take your pick!) whereby it won't reconnect after sleep or screensaver without a quit and restart.

    For what it's worth, this is still going on and in my experience isn't related to sleep or screensaver. Restarting mail doesn't help much. Surest fix is to restart entire system, which is a pain. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks.
