Can I back a single movie to a playable disk, where I will not need I tunes to play that movie? (If buying the movie as in a store, I might want a 'hard copy' in case of troubles)

I have desire to rent or buy a movie on Itunes. If I truly like it, I will want a hard copy. Can I record that movie to a playable DVD?

No, you cannot.

You can make a backup of the movie, bu ti would not be playable on a dvd player. It would only play from itunes on a computer.
