iPhone 5 problem with bluetooth

Hi. I tried connect my iPhone 5 to my MacBook Pro (2011) and it didn't work. Why? The iPhone 5 says that device isn't supported!!! What??? Apple doesn't support apple? What's wrong?

iPhone 5, iOS 6.1.2

As the app setup specifically mentions, it is merely a BT bridge between their app on one device and another. It does NOT require any pairing of devices. If you have the beta version on your Mac and the iOS app on your iOS device, you should be running both apps and they should self-discover eachother without any BT setup required.

If that does not happen, then there would appear to be something wrong with the software or your installation of it.

Instashare uses a BT bridge between apps, not a BT network connection between devices.

P.S. here is Apple's list of supported bluetooth profiles in iOS
