iPhone 4s Bluetooth Headset Problem

I have an iPhone 4s running ios 6.1.1 and I am having problems with my Plantronics Backbeat 903+, the mic doesn't work so no one can hear me on calls with my headset. Even Siri can't hear me. Anyone else having the same issue? It's as if my iPhone doesn't know my headset has a mic.
