Just updated to 6.1.2 and now my iPhone 4S says "SIM Card Failure" and I can't dial out. A reboot of the phone restores it temporarily but then it keeps happening.

I'm on Sprint here in the U.S. I read something about certain SIM cards not being compatible with software updates. KiltedTim, when you say "replacement" do you mean SIM card or phone?

HELP! 😟

Hi,

I would suggest you to,

Hold the Sleep/Wake Button {on the top right of the Device} and the Home Button {the one below the screen}

for 5-15 Secs until the Phone goes OFF and the Apple sign comes back. This will reset your iPhone BUT YOU won't lose any of your Data or Contacts or Preferred Settings.

Once the Device is back again working {comes on the Home Screen}, Connect it to iTunes.

Check It...

HOPE THIS RESOLVES YOUR ISSUE.
