appearance of dates, numbers in notes highlighted I don't know why
In notes app some of the numbers, dates are a light amber color while the rest of my note entries are in black. Why!!

iOS allows numbers and dates to be associated to Calendar Events. If you use the Mail app on the iPad, if you receive and email with a date in like - February 22 2013 - the type will turn blue. You can tap and hold down on that and you can create a calendar event from that.
Basically you see the same behavior in the Notes app. Try tapping and holding down on the date in the amber color and see if you get the option to create an event. Website links will turn the amber color in the notes app as well.
