What version of iPhoto do you have?

directions and requirements for PhotoStream are in this article - http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/

Not sure which iPhoto.  Know it was not one that talked to iCloud but did an update.  Is it possible it is so old nothing will update it far enough?

Went to the link and followed the instructions.  Looks like everything is on but still iPhoto will not highlight.

Well unless you meet the minimum requirements you can not use PS - so you need to tell us what version you have - in iPhoto under the iPhoto menu ==> about iPhoto  --  of in the finder get info and see what version you have

It tells me it is 8.1.2  Clicked to upgrade to 11 and it tell me I didn't buy 8.1.2 from the Mac App Store and asks if i want 9.4.2.

Whatever is on here was on it when I bought the computer.  Did an update earlier today.

If I get the 9.4.2, which will allow me to PS can I then update to 11?  Why not go straight to 11?

    Version 8.1.2 is iPhoto '09

PhotoStream requires iPhoto '11 version 9.2 (9.4 for shared PS) or later

    versions are really confusing

    iPhoto 6 is version 6.x

    iPhoto '08 is version 7.x.x

    iPhoto '09 is version 8.x.x

    iPhoto '11 is version 9.x.x

So version 9.4.2 is iPhoto '11

So why don't they just say that.  Got it and it seems to be doing what I want.

    Thanks for the help.
