Will a 15mm HDD fit inside the new MacBook Pro 15in?

It will probably fit but it would be inadvisable to use this drive in a MBP. It's a green drive, you will find performance suffers, especially as a system HD. The WD Green drives are designed for secondary data storage where performance isn't much of a concern. Even WD doesn't advise it as a system HD.


You will get far better performance at a significantly lower price with a WD Scorpio Black drive. But they don't come in 2TB sizes. 750 GB is about the largest capacity you will find. B&H Photocarries it for only about $75.
