Can someone tell me the difference between 'Flash Storage' 'Solid Slate Dirve' and a 'Hard Drive'

Thanks

flash storage and solid state storage are the same thing - solid state storage is flash storage in a typical hard drive shaped enclosure so it can easily be used in place of a hard drive - flash storage is not in an enclosure and is harder to upgrade for end users

a hard drive is basically worse in every way apart from storage space/cost (has moving parts so can go wrong, it's slower, less durable, bigger, uses more power). you would use this if you need a lot of space and cost is an issue
