My Macbook Pro keeps returning to the login screen.

My Macbook Pro keeps returning to the login screen.

When I try to login the normal process starts but after 10 seconds the Mac returns to the login screen. I is only with the Admin password. I can login normally with my "Family" login which has no password. Any suggestions?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

Hi, see if this works with your admin Password...

Open System Preferences>Accounts, unlock the lock, click on the little plus icon, make a new admin account, log out & into the new account.
