Q: why cant i use iPhoto stream with mountain lion

it wont let me check the box with my macbook to allow me to use photo stream

how can i fix this

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

upgrade iPhoto to the required version - what version of iPhoto do you have?
