I recently bought a new macbook, and on my previous one I've got Logic Express 8 installed. This new one doesn't have a cd-rom drive, but I should have all the serialnumbers and such since the softwear is installed on my old macbook.

Is there any way for me to, by using the same registration key, download the softwear from appstore or anywhere and re-install it on my current unit?

Thanks!

You cannot download LE8 from the App Store and all you can download from Apple's website are the updates, not the full program, which is only available on DVD. You should be able to transfer LE8 from your old to your new MacBook with a firewire cable, ethernet cable, or a wireless network using either Migration Assistant or Target Disk Mode.  Check out these two videos: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jduVbnKJw4Q http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lsv2U9eWm3Q You can Google these if you need more information.  I hope this helps you get up and running again on your new MacBook.
