magic jack in iphone 4s

Have similar issue. Had a live chat with app managers for about 45 mins.

They suggested uninstall and reinstall. However, even that did not work.

Thereafter, they checked lot of things, like IP address, etc. but are totally clueless.

They closed the conversation saying they are raising ticket and will inform me by email. (This happened around 19:30~20:00 hrs India time) They have not reverted.

I shall post if i happen to hear from them

Many Thx for your reply. Same problem now occurred on my wife's IPhone 4S. I deleted and reinstalled app on my phone and get the same error message. Hope MJ has a solution soon. Thx.

Hi Everyone - It does not work with the new IOS 6.1.2. I have tried on my iPad with IOS 6.0.1 and it works fine.

Hopefully the company will fix the problem soon😟

I have the same error message on my iphone 5 (ios 6.1.2), but my MJ is working on my iphone 4s (6.1.2),

The MJ on my iphone 5 was being used only for outgoing calls, so it was never registered for an incoming number, I just found out today that its no longer working.

For my iphone 4s, this has been registered to make outgoing calls and has an incoming number, and it is still working under ios 6.1.2

Agree it stopped working after I downloaded IOS 6.1.2. I use MJ on the IPhone 4S for outgoing calls only and never registered it for incoming calls. Hopefully there will be a solution soon.

Finally Magic Jack accepts it is their problem. Now it has been rectified by them. Magic Jack now operational on iOS 6.1.2 Enjoy free outgoing to the US and Canada without registering.
