My IPhone 5 heats up even when not in use and the battery is being discharged fast. I think it has started showing up after I have upgraded to IOS 6.1.2. Tried restore and update with back up. No solution to the problem yet.

I was able to solve the problem after switching of several notifications working in the background.
Aslo double tap home button and hthen hold finger on the icons which appear along the bottom of the screen until they wiggle and then tap on the minus sign to close the app
My Iphone 5 heats up and the battery charge is draining fast..
