There are 17 (SEVENTEEN) other people so far who have raised a hand to say they have the same problem and
HAVE NOT clicked "I don't have this problem anymore".
Like me.
I followed, step by step, the instructions in the link you provided. Not only was nothing corrupted, it wasn't missing either.
My USB cords are also fine. Obvious to me, anyway, is that at least 16 other people have run into no answer to their problem
as well.
Apple, you charge enough to have no excuse for not adequately answering and/or addressing this VERY REAL problem.
Obviously, your iTunes 11 is programmed to REJECT anything older than iPhone 7+
And apparently, you don't care for customer loyalty. Personally, I'm over on Windows forums finding out how to LEAVE
iTunes and Apple in the dust to find something that will not STEAL MY MUSIC FROM ME.
Yes, I said that, and wrote it. When Apple refuses me access to music I HAVE PAID FOR that is called THIEVERY.
I wish I could cuss. Since that's not appropriate to a public forum, just imagine the worst cuss words you can and
consider that I have said them about Apple and it's multi-trillion dollar empire that doesn't care about customer loyalty.
Since they do not care, I advise leaving Apple, iPhone, iTunes, etc. There are Windows machines, smart phones and other types of music files.
Yes, my advice to anyone still having this problem is to leave iTunes and Apple. PROMPTLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If Santa gave you an i"Device" (fill in iPhones, iPod, iPad, iMac, etc.) of any sort for Christmas, go turn it in and get a refund and buy yourself anything Windows and for an iPhone switch you would buy a smart phone which works with Windows.
Maybe Microsoft isn't as bad as Apple would have us believe. Maybe Apple is just projecting it's own bad business practices?
Just a thought. Good luck to all of you.
Trust me, Apple will not care if you do.
