My daughter's iPod touch was turned off for 2 weeks and now it will not turn back on. It has been on the charger since last night.

Someone please help! It's practically brand new! Less than a year old. I replaced the screen (was cracked) and it was working fine. Grounded my daughter for 2 weeks and now it won't turn back on! Its been on the charger over night so I know its not the battery. New charger! Please help!
