Can we swap SIM cards for international use?
My husband is stationed in Japan and has an iPhone with a Japanese SIM card. Can we change to a SIM card from an American carrier to use the phone when he's in the states?

Only if the iphone is unlocked.
Japanese carriers do not unlock iphones at all.
Did he buy the iphone in Japan? If so, then he cannot use it with a U.S sim
