Right headphone not working... AGAIN... WTF?!

Right headphone stopped working today, not just my headphones. I take very good care of it, barely any scratches, and the worst thing is that this same exact thing happened to me 2 or 3 months ago. I sent my old ipod in to be replaced and I have no idea how this could happen again. Does anyone know how I can fix this without sending it in again?

Is it the headphones not working or the iPod?

Try other headphones. Do they work?

Sometimes when i dont hear out of one headphone, its due to the jack not being completely in to receive correctly. I know this probably is not your problem, but your ipod might have a problem with its jack, and ur just not lucky.

That contradicts itself. I wanted to understand the issue...

Anyhow, see if there is any dust in the port and try blowing into it.

Also, see if either of these help...
Resetting iPod
Restore the iPod

it doesnt contradict itself, my headphones are not the problem; I tried other headphones to see whether or not it was the ipod, but the other headphones had the same problem, so it had to be the ipod

So, your saying if i had a Mac Mini, and a Cinema Display, and said the display wasnt working, but it was really the output on the computer, it would be contradictory? I think not.

Dammit, I'm saying that my right headphone stopped working, and that this little problem is not only applicable to my headphones, but to many other headphones, therefore, this leads me to believe that this problem is coming from the ipod. NO CONTRIDICTIONS! THIS IS NOT WHY I STARTED THIS THREAD!

I know, the problem is in your iPod.

My suggestions:
-use compressed air to clean headphone jack head (output port)
-return to Apple, again
