4th and 5th gen iPod compatible for FaceTime?

Okay my friend has a 4th gen iPod and I have a 5th gen, for some reason FaceTime won't work for us, but one if my other friends has a 5th gen as well and we can do FaceTime, any suggestions? Sorry I know it says for iPhone but they don't have an iPod category.
