Hi, had the same issue after changing country store. Loging out of my itunes account (in settings), restart ipad, login again to account, start itunes and it worked again.

You're great. I got the new null response error message yesterday after installing ios8. I had 4 chats with Apple Support they suggested, hard rests, disconnecting the Internet, returning to factory settings. But I didn't have any joy. Searching for advice in the net , some recommended changing tthe date to to the future and then opening and closing. No joy. Your solution was logical, quick and 100% effective. Thanks so much

Hi. It looks like you're in the app store. Do the other buttons, say Featured, also give errors? Are your region and time zone consistent with your location? Are you using any type of VPN or unblocker to hide your location?

I am on Mac OSX, other buttons do not give errors, region and timezone is consistent with my location, not using VPN or unblocker.
